Experience
As I am a newly graduate my work experience consists of the projects I made at the academy.
nonetheless I also got a feel of real world projects under the (learning in work place) period which is a mandatory part of the studies in the academy during these periods we as students get to practice our skills with a chosen company.
Full stack trainee
I chose to do my final trainee period at Jahopp AB which is a leading company in Sweden that creates and manages learning platforms.
At Jahopp I got to develop some advanced solutions as a full stack developer.
During this period:
- I collaborated with a highly skilled team to deliver high-quality front-end and bck-end solutions.
- Adapted quickly to the company’s routines and frameworks, utilizing technologies such as Svelte, Sveltekit, Tailwin CSS, and headless CMS.
- contributed to the implementation of testing routines with Vitest to ensure that the software qulity is up to the company’s stndrards.
- contact information and references are detailed in my resume.
- The projects I worked on will NOT be posted on my public Github nor Gitlab as they are the company’s property.
On my own
Knowing that the work-market requires more than the basics and with the need to create a simple portfolio (this one!) to present myself to possible employers I studied parallel with the academy and advanced my skills in various areas such as:
At Jahopp I got to develop some advanced solutions as a full stack developer.
During this period:
- I needed to host my own portfolio on a self-managed Linux server as a way to teach myself how to work with such environment.
- Through the last period of my studies Spring and Spring boot launched new versions which was a perfect opportunity for me to experience real-world changes in frameworks so I had to relearn some of the Spring security on my own.
- As a full-stack developer I found myself needing to learn some javascipt-based frameworks which is a lot of fun.
